Haig joined Callanish Capital after an extensive career in investment management. Prior to this, Haig was Head of Investments at atomos (formerly Sanlam Wealth), implementing the award-winning investment proposition, leading the private client team, and investment management function. Previously, Haig served as co-CEO and CIO of boutique wealth manager Tcam before its sale to 7IM in 2017, where he became Head of Portfolio Management.
Haig began his career in 1997 at Turcan Connell after earning a degree in Economics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University. He also has an MSc in Investment Analysis from Stirling University. He is a CFA Charterholder, and has held several leadership roles within CFA UK and currently Chairs the Investment Policy Committee.
Haig has the LIBF Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA), and the LIBF Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP).
