Prior to joining Callanish Capital, Kevin Thomas worked as a Financial Research Analyst at D. E. Shaw & Co. within the Data Analytics department. In this role, he was involved in building and maintaining data and analytical solutions used to produce portfolio-level insights for investment teams across the firm. His work supported investment decision-making through reporting enhancements, data quality improvements, and the automation of analytics workflows.
Kevin has experience working with Python, SQL, and data visualisation tools in a financial research environment, supporting both recurring and ad hoc analytical requirements.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Professional – Finance) from Christ University, India. Kevin is an FRM Charter holder, has cleared the CFA exams, and is a CGMA Affiliate.
